American Top Team (ATT) is one of the primary teams in mixed martial arts. The gym was founded by Dan Lambert who brought in former members of Brazilian Top Team Marcus "Conan" Silveira, Marcelo Silveira and Ricardo Liborio, but there is no formal affiliation between the two teams. ATT's main academy is in Coconut Creek, Florida but has academies throughout the United States. ATT features professional fighters who have competed in many major promotions such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), PRIDE Fighting Championships, DREAM, K-1, Strikeforce, and Bellator. American Top Team has locations through out the United States, with the founding gym located in Coconut Creek, FL. American Top Team-Coconut Creek not only trains the world's top Mixed Martial Arts athletes, but also offer membership classes to children and adults in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Submission Grappling, Wrestling and MMA.

History

American Top Team was founded in 2001 by Dan Lambert, whose original vision was to build a training facility where MMA fighters could get all of their training under one roof. A businessman by trade and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast, Lambert had the expertise and passion to turn American Top Team into one of the top MMA training facilities and Martial Arts academies in the world. There are currently 40 American Top Team affiliates worldwide who represent the ATT banner. The headquarters in Coconut Creek continues its history of excellence by producing champions in major MMA organizations year after year.
